Why should you recycle your electronics?
Disposal of electronic equipment can present numerous concerns for protecting your company’s intellectual property and your employees’ and customers’ personal privacy. According to the National Association for Information Destruction, fines assessed for improper disposal of personal information in the past 3 years equals the previous 20 years combined. Additionally, illegal dumping of electronic waste, illegal exporting, and unsafe rural smelting overseas and are all improper ways obsolete electronics can harm the environment and people.
